Why donations aren’t open
In California, charities must register with the Attorney General’s Registry of Charities and Fundraisers. We will not ask for or accept donations until our registration is in place.
Please don’t send money
Please don’t send us money by mail, email or any other way yet. When we can accept donations, we will say so on this page.
We also don’t run in-store donation or “round-up” campaigns at dispensaries. If you see one using our name, please tell us.

When donations open
- We will announce it on this page, with how to give.
- We won’t ask residents of other states for donations until we have registered where their state requires it.
- Our funding policy applies to every gift: limits on industry money, and public disclosure of our donors.
- If you work for a cannabis business, read the funding policy before offering a gift. Industry gifts are handled separately, never through the public donation page.
