Not every section appears in every issue. We leave a section out rather than fill it.

Not an emergency alert service
The Safety Brief comes about every two weeks, so it can be days behind a new recall. For the latest, check current alerts and recalls. In an emergency, call 911.
How sign-up works
- Enter your email address. We send one message with a confirmation link.
- The link opens a page on our website. Select “Confirm my subscription” there. The link expires after 48 hours.
- If you do not confirm, we do not email you again and we delete the request after 30 days.
Your email address
- We use it only to send The Safety Brief.
- Every issue has an unsubscribe link. It works right away, with one click.
- When you unsubscribe, we delete your address and keep only a scrambled record so we do not email you by mistake.
